Words are so powerful. The right ones can remind us where we’re going, inspire us to reach for more, and push us through the hard times. Maybe it’s because I’ve always loved to read and write, but reading the right quotes really keep me motivated.
I wanted to have something in my little work space that would continually remind me where I’m going and why. Something to push me through and work my hardest. A lot of times the wall above a desk is used for mundane things like paperwork, calendars, and supply storage. This is the space directly in front of me as I work. The first space I see when I sit back to take a break for a second. I wanted it to be something that inspired me to keep moving and do more.
Inspiring words were the answer.

I came up with the idea of using clipboards because I wanted this to be something that I could easily change as my needs and ideals changed. I loved these black ones to add a bit of grounding black and tie into the black books I have on the shelf.

As for the actual quotes, I used Canva to create the graphics and then had them printed on photo paper. The process was so simple. I found a graphic of a daffodil and made it pretty transparent and just added my quotes over the top.

You could also make these by hand or even use a corkboard to pin them to!
A little trick I use to hang them or pretty much anything is painter’s or masking tape. I make a small mark where I want them to be on the wall. Then I stick a piece of tape on the wall. From there, I can level this piece of tape and easily mark where I want my holes to go.
When I moved to the second row, it made it super easy to line everything up!

The finished product is something to inspire me every day!
