What kind of a gift wrapper are you? Do you get it all done right away and have wrapped presents under the tree for weeks or do you wait until the last minute? And do you go all out or keep it simple? Or do you skip the paper and do bags?
I’m definitely more of a procrastinator, and I’ve also never been one to go all out with my wrapping decor. I usually pick up some pretty paper from the store, wrap, and slap on a tag. This year, I’m feeling crazy so I thought I would try my hand at some fancy gift wrapping!
I love the simplicity of a kraft paper wrapping paper. It pretty much can go with any décor and you can spruce it up in so many ways with your ribbon and tags and such! I ordered a roll of paper from Amazon and started wrapping. You could also probably find this at any craft store!
Also – so many other uses for this paper if you don’t use it all for gifts! It makes great kids coloring paper. You could even wrap the entire top of a table to use as a kid’s table at holiday gatherings or just a cold Wednesday afternoon!
Ok back to wrapping. I wrapped my box just as I usually would with regular paper. Now time to decorate! Here are a few different ideas for you –

Kraft Paper Gift Wrap Ideas
A simple ribbon or layered ribbons. Wrap it around the box and tie a bow! Or skip the bow and just tape it to the back!
Add in some tree clippings or a wreath pick! You can go to any tree lot or Home Depot or Lowes and get their extra tree clippings for free!
Use a sharpie. If you have any artistic talent at all you can create your own custom paper by writing a message or drawing on your gift!
No gift tags needed! You can use a Sharpie to write your to and froms and it looks beautiful and intentional and you don’t need a gift tag!
Stamp it on. You can also get stamps from the craft store and stamp on a design or keep it simple and stamp on a to and from label!
Whether you do this for all of your gifts or maybe just a select few that you want to have a little extra special presentation, have fun and get creative with it!
