Winter and the cold weather always seem to bring me super dry skin. The dryness tends to leave me with dull looking skin that’s flaky and patchy. Good non toxic skincare oils can be very pricey, so I decided to make my own with my essential oils.
I swear this stuff works better than the stuff you can buy at the store! It will be a little pricey up front to get all of the oils, but they will last you so long and you can use them for SO many other things too!

Essential Oils Face Serum:
Frankincense essential oil
Lavender essential oil
Clary Sage essential oil
A 1 oz. amber glass dropper bottle
Add 10-15 drops of each essential oil to the bottle and top with jojoba oil. That simple.
I use mine at night after cleansing my face and after using my normal moisturizer. I also use a smaller amount in the morning under my makeup. I have had zero issues with breakouts or oily looking skin when using this oil and within days of using it I have noticed a big difference in the glowyness and just overall appearance of my skin!
I have another post about essential oils here if you want to read it, but I highly recommend Young Living Essential Oils. I have used these for years and the quality is the best. To get a starter kit, send me a message and we’ll chat! It’s the best deal if you are wanting to get started with essential oils and a more natural non toxic lifestyle.
Other essential oils for skin care:
Blue Tansy – this one would be amazing in this oil but it is definitely on the pricier side!
Rose – also very pricy, but great for skin!
Tea Tree – I use this anytime I feel a breakout coming. I put a drop on a cotton swab and hold it over the zit for 20-30 seconds. It clears it up so much faster!
Copaiba – this anti inflammatory oil can be very beneficial to your skin
Myrrh – also anti inflammatory
