Remember how I said there were tons of ways to use that Kraft Paper you just got to wrap presents? Well here is another way for you! Leaving cookies is something every kid gets excited about on Christmas eve. We had a special plate and cup set and then the cup has broken and the plate has gotten used as a regular plate all year long, so they aren’t exactly special anymore. Not that you NEED a special plate to give cookies to Santa, but I thought this would be a cute way to make one with stuff you already have!

You can totally use your creativity with this too! You can use a big piece of paper or you could cut into the shape and size of a plate! You could let the kids go to town coloring or decorating the Santa ‘plate’ however they want!
You could also add little handprints and places to put the cookies! Write a message to Santa, add in some reindeer treats, there are so many things you could do!
And what I really love about this is that you can really make it a new tradition too and make a new one every year. It would be so much fun to look back on later at how the Santa plates evolved over the years!
