This year is the fist year that both boys understand and are excited for Christmas! Elijah has been asking for at least a week now if today is Christmas haha. And Isaiah is always so excited anytime he sees a Santa or Christmas decorations. This is really the best part of this holiday- seeing their excitement at all of it. And more than the gifts, I think making the whole month special with small things is more memorable than the toys they will un wrap on the 25th. They wont remember the stuff years later, but the experiences will stick with them (and us!), and be the memories they cherish.
I have never made a holiday or season bucket list before. Now that we have kids and I have mom brain, I feel like it’s something I need to do or I will forget that we wanted to do something!
Our list looks just a little different this year than it would in a normal year, but I tried to still find tons of ways to make this holiday season special!
