Books can be some of the best ways to get into the Christmas spirit with your kids! It’s so much fun to get into a story and magic of the season through books. We have a good amount of them in our home and I love to pull them out of storage as the season approaches! Meaning we have been reading ours for the last month or so..
We also have checked out a ton of fun Christmas books from our library! This can be a great affordable way to do the seasonal books because they still get to read them for a few weeks and you don’t have to buy a bunch of books that you only use a few weeks of the year! It’s been such a fun activity for us to go to the library and just pick out what ever books we want to read!
I put together a list of some of the books that we have loved getting to read! I have included links to the books if you want to check them out, but I strongly suggest you look into finding them at your local library!!!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas
How to Hide a Lion at Christmas
Twas the Night Before Christmas recorded book – Daniel’s mom got this one for the boys with her recording of reading the story and it is so cool, especially since we don’t always see them for Christmas! It looks like it’s sold out everywhere now. I found a pre order option from Target here, but it’s not released until August of next year. Totally worth it though!
Construction Site on Christmas Night
Biscuit’s Pet and Play Christmas (great for babies!)
I would love to learn about more great Christmas books for us to check out, so if you have a favorite that’s not listed here, be sure to leave it in the comments!
