Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week so far! I have spent some time creating a little vision or product board this week. It’s been a fun way to practice decorating in a way without having a room to redecorate!
For this, I basically went on Target’s website and picked all of the items to redecorate a made up dining room! I put all of the photos into a collage in Photoshop. Let me know what you guys think about these, because I loved making it!
Before I start sharing I should say that these are affiliate links, meaning that if you click and purchase through them I would receive a small commission. In this case, I haven’t actually bought any of these things to speak to the quality. Some of it I have seen in store, so I can there. I just wanted to be up front about all of that. And of course thank you if you do ever decide to purchase through a link of mine!
Anyway, here’s the dining room product board and my thought process through it!

dining table // chairs // buffet // light // fabric art // buffalo prints // shelf // dinner plate //salad plate //silverware // placemat //oval brass bowl // round brass bowl
The look I was going for here was a mid century farmhouse which is pretty much my favorite style right now. I love the clean lines of mid century modern items, and I love the warmth that farmhouse adds to it.
The dining table was the first piece I chose. I love the color of the wood and the clean farmhouse lines.
Next, chairs. These were a top contender for my dining room in my house. I love the tall spindle back, and I am also loving black right now.
I loved the wood detailing on the front of this buffet. It’s on the smaller side and not solid wood, but for the price it looks like a pretty piece!
This light. The mix of brass an black is such a fun look! It’s a great way to add in a little bit of brass.
Another way to bring in some pretty brass elements are these bowls on a shelf. I love the idea of displaying pretty dish or cookware in the kitchen and dining areas.
The art. I thought both of these pieces were pretty and unique. The larger one looks like it’s a piece of painted burlap, and the smaller buffalo prints I just loved.
For the place settings I wanted to keep with the neutral black and white. I don’t typically keep my table set at home because I have a 3 year old boy. Honestly, half of my table is usually used to hold stuff and we squish around the other half to eat. The boys will sit right up next to each other on the short end of the table. And mess with each other all meal long.
Anyway, I fell in love with this black silverware set and the shape of the black and white stoneware plates. They are Hearth and Hand by Magnolia and everything from that line is great quality!
You could easily add to this table some pumpkin orange for a Thanksgiving table or some red and green to dress it up for Christmas too!
Well, there you have it! I hope you liked my dining room product board and ramblings for today! Let me know if you have any other rooms, styles, or themes you would like to see!
Have a great day!
