The gingerbread latte from Starbucks used to be my favorite holiday drink, but they now have gotten rid of it! I honestly don’t really like any of the other holiday drinks they have now, except for a peppermint white mocha. But anyway, it’s probably a good thing because then I am not as tempted to go to Starbucks!
I found a recipe for a gingerbread latte on NutPods’ Instagram last week and I decided to give it a try and modify it a bit! It is sooo good! It’s the perfect recipe to try out this holiday week! I make mine iced because I’m one of those never to cold for iced coffee kind of people, but you could easily make this hot!
You can find NutPods in most grocery stores now, or you can use my code ‘DAFFODILSEID’ for 15% off your first order on NutPods!
Gingerbread Latte – You Will Need
Espresso or strong coffee – I use my Moka pot
1/2 tsp Pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to the botton of your cup. Add to that 1/2 to 1 tsp of brown sugar, depending on how sweet you want your coffee. Add the pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. You can add more or less depending on your love of spice! Pour hot espresso (or strong coffee) over the syrup and stir. Add the oat milk and NutPods and top with ice!
If you are making it hot, just heat your milk and NutPods and then use a frother like this one to froth your milk and pour on top!
I use 1 shot of espresso if I am making it hot and 2 if I am making my big iced latte! So your milk amounts will vary as well!
I know it’s a gingerbread latte, but I feel like if I lowered the amounts of sweetness(because I need a full sugar detox after this week!) I could drink this all winter too!
